Hired By Em is an Adelaide dress-hire business. Their customers can browse a dress, check their date, pay the hire fee and bond, and receive confirmation online. Behind the scenes, availability and bookings update automatically.
The challenge
What we were up against
Bookings were coming through DMs and messages. Availability was tracked by hand, double-bookings happened, and chasing customers for payment ate hours every week.
The approach
How we built it
We built a live availability calendar and a guided booking flow that collects payment and bond, reserves the dress, and sends confirmation, with an admin view so Em can manage it all herself.
The outcome
What changed
Hired By Em now runs on an automated booking and payment system. Availability stays accurate, customers get instant confirmation, and the manual admin that used to fill the week is gone.
